The FLUX 460 is a light, transportable motor pump. Using pump tube sets made from different materials, with different installation depths and with different pump tube set diameters, the pump is universally suitable for conveying almost all neutral, aggressive, flammable and viscous liquids of up to approx. 500 mPas. When handling highly flammable liquids, observe the relevant legal provisions. Using the pump, filling is possible with a throttled or shut-off outlet. When using a mixing tube, the FLUX 460 is ideally suitable fro stirring and mixing liquids, even in narrow-necked vessels. Design options: Each pump FLUX 460 consists of a motor head and a pump tube set. All motor heads and all pump tube sets of the FLUX 460 are replaceable and can be combined with each other as required, for example with a compressed-air motor. Motor head: The motor housing of the FLUX 460 is surface-aerated and protected by a rubber thrust collar. The motor head is delivered with a built-in switch, motor circuit breaker with undervoltage release, insulated carrying handle and 5 m cable. For the discharge of electrostatic charge when conveying highly flammable liquids, a connection for the mandatory earth cable is available. Pump tube sets: Each pump tube set consists of a pump element that runs at the base end of the surrounding outer tube and is driven by a shaft that is mounted and sealed in an inner tube. When taking the pump tube set out of the liquid, it is completely self-draining. Examples of materials to be conveyed: Type 460-AL (light metal) not explosion-proof, but suitable for pumping non-flammable liquids in potentially explosive atmospheres. Water, neutral and non-flammable substances, liquid soaps and waxes, thin oils. Type 460-Ex-S (stainless steel) explosion-proof. Petrol, fuel oil, diesel oil, solvents, sprayable nitrocellulose lacquers, food, fruit juices, ammonium chloride, sodium hydroxide solution, nitric acid, nitrosulphuric acid (limited).
