The detectable spoons SteriPlast® made of blue polystyrene are produced in clean room class 7 (10,000), individually packaged for disposable use and then sterilized with gamma rays.
The detectable spoons are available in two sizes, 2.5 ml (similar to teaspoons) and 10 ml (similar to tablespoons), ideal for sampling powders, granules, pastes and liquids.
In addition to the blue shade, these spoons have a special additive in the material that makes them visible in metal detectors or X-rays. Although these products are made of plastic, they can be sorted out by the usual foreign object control systems.
